For the past 10 years, our club has held the Greater Kansas City Pipe and Tobacco Show in the Fall. The theme has always been "Have A Good Time" and now "Support American Carvers", and our members have worked very hard to ensure that each and every person attending enjoys each show.
The show began in 1998 and has grown and matured each year. Unfortunately, due to events beyond our control, we will not be able to present this years (2008) show in any of the venues we have used in the past. We have determined that, since we are not able to present our show in facilities that are conveniently located and provide both the space and food services that we need, we will not be holding a Greater Kansas City Pipe Show in 2008.
This has not been an easy decision, but we feel that we would prefer to not hold a show that does not meet the level of quality, amenities and freedom we have been known for. We will continue to search for facilities for a 2009 Show and will plan accordingly if such facilities become available.
The 2007 show was held on November 3rd and 4th with pre-show activities beginning on Friday, the 2nd.
